How we raise money to help fund Memberships

ella Foundation

The ella Foundation was founded by Mike Burnage and Brian Chernett in November 2010.

Any surpluses made each year by ella Forums CIC are donated to the ella Foundation.

The Foundation’s Purpose

The purpose of the ella Foundation is to provide grants and bursaries to Charities and Social Enterprises for the continuous development of their leaders.

The Foundation’s Aim

To create an environment where Charity and Social Enterprise leadership flourishes to enhance social and economic impact both on a local and national scale and to improve the public understanding and opinion of leadership in our sector.

How We Help

Initially we offer bursaries to an organisations Chief Exec/MD and/or Emerging Leaders to support their Fees for Membership to an Ella Forums CIC Group.

Ella Forums CIC deliver Monthly peer-to-peer support meetings, Action Learning sets, 1-2-1 coaching and skills workshops. Enhanced by regular professional speakers on key and relevant subjects and delivered by Chairs ella Forums Membership is the bedrock for continuous leadership development.

Once an ella Forums CIC Member, Leaders will have access to apply for Grants for greater and wider leadership development within their organisation where increased can be proven and measured.

ella Foundation also maintain a community of professional volunteer coaches and mentors who donate their time to support ella Forums Members through a 1-2-1 matching programme.
