There are more exciting developments in the growth of ella which are increasing our ability to reach Third Sector leaders in more remote areas of the UK. We are launching a new group in Norwich in April to serve Chief Executives in Norfolk and Suffolk.
The group is being chaired by Robert Ashton. Robert left a successful corporate sales career in 1990 and now describes himself as a social entrepreneur and business author. He’s currently researching his 19th book, which explore the opportunities created by the converging corporate and charity sectors.
Robert is Patron of Norfolk & Suffolk Relate, a Vice Patron of Norfolk Community Foundation, a Fellow of the RSA and was recently appointed by the cooperative movement to the Board of Trust Norfolk-SEN, a cooperative Trust of 11 complex needs schools across Norfolk.
We would like to warmly invite anyone interested in finding out more about this group to attend this launch meeting as a guest of ella. The meeting will give you the opportunity to experience the benefits of ella first-hand. The meeting will open with a speaker session by ella founder Brian Chernett on his topic ‘People Matter’. A peer groups learning session will follow giving attendees the opportunity to discuss issues, challenges or opportunities they may be facing. Under Chatham House Rules you will get to learn from the collectively experienced and diverse group of peers round the table. This powerful “board you can not afford” format is highly successful, extremely engaging and continuously develops the leadership and management skills of all involved.
