Ella-J958-20It has been a busy month for ella with the launch of three new groups across the UK. On May 26th Steve Taylor Smith, our Director of Business Growth in the North and current Chair of the ella Merseyside group, held a fantastic first meeting in Leeds at the Enterprise Foundation. He was delighted to be joined by many local voluntary sector organisations who took part in Ken Allison’s workshop on Employment Law.

The 19th May saw the launch of the other two new ella groups. Diversity Specialist and Chair of London Group 1, Sneha Khilay, held her first meeting at Kingston Smith in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Guest speaker at the meeting was Dan Fletcher who is the Deputy Director for Kingston Smith Fundraising & Management. Dan gave an insightful talk on ‘Impact Assessment’ and guests went away with lots of ideas and top tips.

Steve Mathews, a new ella Chair, hosted his first meeting at the Brentford Lock Holiday Inn. ella co-founder Mike Burnage joined the meeting to give a talk on ‘Sharing the Dream’, a subject about which he is extremely passionate. This was followed by an interesting peer group learning session where guests issues were discussed among the group and advice and solutions were offered.

We look forward to welcoming all the guests at next month’s meetings. If you are interested in experiencing the ella process we would like to warmly invite you to come along as our guest, details are as follows:
